Service Description

Aromatherapy is a very subtle ancient form of healing. Massage techniques, including applications for personal growth, emotional release, and balance of mind-body-spirit are used. Each aromatherapy oil has a character and various ways to help to enhance the Mind and Body and in doing so can lift the Spirit too. We stock a wide range of oils using Rose Geranium and Frankincense, to the rarer oils such as Myrtle and Angelica. With over 20 years experience in Aromatherapy, specialising in Aromatherapy for the heart, your story is treasured and your total wellbeing taking care of. This classic Aromatherapy Treatment, triggers the body's own healing process by using lymphatic massage and essential oils to stimulate the flow of blood and lymph fluid and Reflexology techniques on the feet to trigger the body's own healing. The aromas, most importantly, also act upon the emotional centre in the brain (the limbic system) which governs the way we feel. ​ A consultation is given, oils are then prescriptively blended for you. A minimum of 3 oils are selcted for you, a Top note, Heart note and Base note; they are then blended with a carrier oil. Oils are selected appertaining to the Mind, Body and effect on the skin. The therapeutic value of the oil will be considered, and the aroma. You will lie on the massage couch comforted with a light quilt and towels. A heated blanket and the whole body will be massaged using effleurage, petrissage, lymphatic drainage, and kneading. The treatment is complete with full facial massage and foot massage.
